Created a mock custom house products and design shop that imbues everyday objects with meaningful significance, inspired by my family.

Address Plaque: I oiled a piece of hardwood and individually screwed the screws into the wood to form the number address of the house. I chose these materials because I wanted to blend rustic charm and organic beauty elements. Taking the sturdy, industrial nature of screws typically found in rigid structures and juxtaposing this with the fluid, natural form of hardwood

Music Sign: With a family rich in musical talent, they've dedicated a cozy corner of their home to an array of instruments. Inspired by this musical haven, I crafted a sign to adorn their space. Drawing from their children's favorite melody notes, I arranged and engraved them to form a beautiful rendering of their family name, Saadia.

Pizza Spatula: Using two 4x2 ft oak hardwood slabs, I crafted the pizza spatula. After cutting the outline on the bandsaw and routing the edges for seamless curves, I adjusted the thickness with a planer. Adding a personal touch, I engraved the 'Saadia Shop' logo on the front handle and 'Saadia Slices' on the back face.
